But I'm still burnt out from working so hard to get ready for my 19 days in Israel. Then the trip was amazing. Retired generals, NGOs, schools, urban kibbutz, moshav, Women of the Wall, drone commander, Orthodox rabbi, IDF, Dept of Ethics/IDF, Tel Aviv, Jaffe, Haifa, Jerusalem, snow in Jerusalem, lots of cousins, way too much good food. Then came the jetlag, ugh, for a week. Plus the ongoing get back up to speed with life. Then I decided to do another pass of major decluttering. Hey, it's spring. Time for a fresh start.
Well, I'm still in that purging mindset. Soon I'll be back to my photography practice. But I'm cleaning out crap, making way for something new to grow. Can't see it yet but I'm starting to get the itch on my shutter finger.
So just a little taste. See above.
We watched Benjamin Netanyahu talking to the US Congress in real time in our airbnb apartment in Tel Aviv. We would not have voted for him if we were Israelis. We are not happy that he's the new prime minister of Israel. But since we've returned from our political study trip, on March 5th, I'm turning into a left wing Zionist rooting full force for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian crisis.
